Ready to help make a difference?
With your help, Habitat homeowners achieve the strength, stability, and self-reliance they need to build a better life for themselves and their families.
Donate Memorial and Honorary Gifts
A memorial gift in honor of your loved one helps us build homes. You can also make an honorary gift for a loved one on birthdays, anniversaries, graduation, a special achievement or any holiday. An acknowledgment of your gift will be sent to the honoree. All gifts go toward building Habitat houses.

Become a Home Sponsor
Sponsoring a home is a wonderful way to help make a difference in the lives of low-income families. Several of the local businesses in the county have sponsored a home. Without the financial support of local businesses, individuals, churches, and other organizations, we would not be able to build the homes we build. We are deeply grateful to all those who have helped us along the way.
Habitat homes are well built and are Energy Star Certified, making them some of the most efficient homes being built in the area. There is no interest on the mortgage. Partner families and volunteers help to build the home keeping labor costs to a minimum.
Sponsorships come in many different forms – monetary, volunteer hours, and special team-building events for corporations, churches, schools, and civic organizations.
In-Kind ReStore Donations
We accept household items, building supplies, tools, cabinets, windows, exercise equipment, clothing, jewelry and accessories, electronics and technology items, furniture, flatscreen TVs, plumbing and electrical fixtures, books and magazines, and many other miscellaneous items.
We do NOT accept any pianos or organs, sofa beds, mattresses or box springs, unframed glass or mirrors, tires, paint, firearms, or console TVs.
Donations of gently used clothing and accessories can be dropped off at the ReStore located behind the office at 269 W. Main St., Forest City, NC 28043.
