Hammering for Heroes 2019
This year the volunteers worked on repairs for the houses of eight veterans in Rutherford County. The day starts with registration and then a brief program where we honor veterans from all branches of the services as well as our local first responders. It is a time of reflection on the sacrifices made on our behalf in the past and respect to those still among us made on our behalf in the past and respect to those still among us.
Rutherford County Habitat for Humanity would especially like to thank the groups that participated with Hammering for Heroes and helped make the day so successful.
